Deep Space Helsinki presents Tripeo

Deep Space Helsinki starts out the summer in cool fashion and brings over Dutch artist Darko Esser who’ll perform a live set under his TRIPEO alias.

Recording artist and DJ Darko Esser is a very busy man these days running his Wolfskuil, Balans and TRIPEO labels releasing stuff from the likes of Jeroen Search & Dimi Angelis, ROD, Steve Rachmad, Imugem Orihasam and DSH’s own Samuli Kemppi to name a few. His TRIPEO alias has of late introduced a new side of him bringing forth a raw and pure techno aesthetic with no bullshit attached. After only a few releases as TRIPEO we were so convinced of the high standard and tripping quality of the music we had no choice but to book him for our party. Expect analogue sounds combined with some wild moves which will make all attendees happy and shake their feet. DSH boys Samuli and Juho will take care of the warm-up and will also close the night in true techno spirit. Let’s make this a good one!

In order to do so, we’re flying young London jedi LAST JAPAN over to slap Helsinki around. Mr. Japan killed our London label night in January, so we trust your lives with him, with recommendations.

TWWTH has some of the freshest rhythms to spare and he is nice enough to let us in on that Benji B approved maze of drum machine snares that he has built lately. Label co-honcho DESTO recently unveiled his forthcoming album project, and will give his samplers & synths a run for their money, performing fresh tracks off the album.

Helsinki’s own mystery man RPK will grace the night with his selection of the tunes you should know right now. Known for being the first to sniff the future of bass driven dance floor bashers, he’s on his own level. Early bird adapters… this dude’s on some egg shit. RPK and Signal Life? Future.

LAS’ second release on Signal Life is coming soon and he promised to bring his secret family formula of North Carelian bass punch to the celebration.
